Education: (Preferred) Bachelor’s
Two years of experience with Python is preferred.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Run and maintain Python scripts to collect vital data for our e-commerce operations by web crawling and scraping websites.
- To make sure that automated tasks run smoothly and continuously, troubleshoot and make necessary code adjustments.
- Work well in a team environment, contributing and adjusting to current codebases while emphasizing thorough and understandable documentation for all automated procedures and routines.
- Work on data extraction jobs for various markets, including front-end and back-end.
- Participate in the creation and upkeep of a data warehouse by updating the database with the results of crawling and scraping.
- Utilize your SQL knowledge, particularly with Postgresql, to store and retrieve data in the dynamic data architecture.
- To immediately retrieve data from marketplaces and outside sources, implement and integrate APIs.
- Encourage team members to share information by explaining coding techniques, best practices, and insights; this will help to create a culture where learning never stops. Qualifications:
- demonstrated expertise in Python automation tasks, including web scraping and web crawling.
- strong Python skills, concentrating on Beautiful Soup, Selenium, Pandas, and Requests.
- Proficiency in web development is necessary to browse both front-end and back-end architecture and find pertinent data.
- familiarity with database management using SQL, most especially Postgresql.
- comprehension of the use and implementation of APIs for direct data retrieval.
- familiarity with version control with Git
- Experience with cloud automation is a plus, especially with Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in e-commerce and familiarity with managing numerous marketplaces are advantageous.
