Work Location: Chennai

The mission-critical responsibility of making sure our intricate, massive systems are robust, automated, scalable, and monitored falls to Poshmark’s Cloud Operations team. You will collaborate closely with our development teams from the very beginning of design to the detection and resolution of production issues, utilizing your interest in site operations/DevOps and your coding expertise.

What You’re Going to Do:

The intern will work on a demanding project that combines operational and automation tasks. In addition to helping with application deployments, testing, and the creation of new automation systems, the projects may entail creating automation scripts, plugins, and apps to track the security and availability of our extensive system.

Relevant experience for Poshmark:

  • A degree in computer science (or a similar discipline)
  • strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • knowledge of operating in Linux and Unix environments
  • GIT/SVN exposure
  • Capacity and enthusiasm to study, investigate, and evaluate novel technologies
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • An inquisitive disposition and a drive to address and resolve challenging issues
