In Europe, MPI Europe leads the way in both policy formulation and migration research. The institute serves a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including governments, non-governmental organizations, and international agencies, by offering reliable research and useful policy suggestions. To produce successful outcomes for newcomers, families of immigrant origins, and the communities that receive them, the aim is to optimize asylum systems, increase immigrant integration, and improve immigration management.
Research Positions
- For two full-time, in-person internships in Brussels starting in September, MPI Europe is looking for exceptional candidates. These positions offer a rare chance to gain in-depth knowledge, real-world research experience, and programmatic experience while collaborating with experts in a variety of policy areas.
- The six-month internships will also provide the chance to work closely with senior management and policy experts.
- The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to organize events and expand their professional networks as a result.
- Only those with valid work authorization in Belgium will be given consideration.

Qualifications
- a bachelor’s degree or greater in a discipline that is appropriate. may be enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at this time, but they must be available full-time for the duration of the internship.
- Expressions of interest in the areas of integration, asylum, and migration
- Outstanding written and spoken English communication abilities (staff members use the language)
- Capacity to multitask and operate both individually and collaboratively.

- Language proficiency outside of English

- Proficiency in policy, qualitative, or quantitative research
