Overview of the Position: To design, create, and maintain online apps using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stack, we are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects while developing web apps that are efficient and responsive.
Primary Accountabilities:
Frontend Development: Use React.js and related tools to create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
Backend Development: To ensure high performance and scalability, design and build server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
Database management: Design and optimize database schemas, carry out data migrations, and guarantee data integrity by collaborating with MongoDB.
API Development: Construct reliable RESTful APIs and include external APIs as needed.
Code Optimization: To guarantee code quality and adherence to best practices, write clear, effective, and maintainable code, and carry out code reviews.
Testing: To make sure the apps are dependable and functioning, run unit and integration tests.
Collaboration: To convert business needs into technical solutions, work together with designers, product managers, and other developers.
Documentation: Keep thorough records of the technological solutions in the codebase for future development and reference.
Deployment: Manage the deployment process by deploying apps to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Heroku.
Bug fixing: Find and fix problems and flaws in software as soon as possible.
Qualifications:
a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline (or comparable professional experience).
demonstrated expertise in developing web apps from scratch and using the MERN stack.
strong front-end and back-end JavaScript competence.
familiarity with third-party API connectors and RESTful APIs.
strong knowledge of MongoDB database design and administration.
knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
familiarity with front-end technologies, including relevant frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
Outstanding debugging and problem-solving abilities.
strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
The capacity to work alone and fulfill project deadlines.
Proficiency with containerization and deployment technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is advantageous.
Expertise in GraphQL is advantageous.
